Sincerely, Sage Platt Board Chair Abby Markoe Executive Directorģ 4 Meet Our Students We could not be prouder of our students! Through their hard work on and off the court, they earn incredible opportunities to travel and compete nationwide. We look forward to continuing to partner with you in our successes for many years to come. We cannot thank you enough for your generosity and commitment to our family. It is with your invaluable support that our students are able to access incredible opportunities that will set them on the path to success. Through years of academic tutoring and enrichment, college visits, and social support, these students are ready to take what they have learned with SquashWise and make their own futures. Students will move on to college and career placements more prepared, more confident, and knowing that SquashWise will continue to support them. This year will be a milestone for us with our first cohort graduating this coming spring. Today, with you, our extended family, we are celebrating six full years of impactful work in Baltimore City, proving that the combination of academics, athletics, and mentoring will change a child s life. Our students dedicate many years to SquashWise from the start of middle school, through high school, and then beyond into college and careers. They have also learned the importance of having strong character and demonstrating commitment to their teammates. Through the years our family has grown and our students have learned the value of studying hard, training year-round, and competing across the country. Their motivation and effort during tryouts secured them a spot on our team, as well as a place in what would become a second family. Many of these students had no opportunities to be a part of team or travel outside of Baltimore. To the SquashWise Family: Six years ago, SquashWise held tryouts for a group of enthusiastic students who had never heard of squash, but had the desire to try something new. We develop committed scholar-athletes through a long-term program of academic tutoring, college/career preparation, mentoring, squash coaching, and fitness training. 2 2 Training for Squash, Training for Life Welcome Letter SquashWise is not your average sports team. ![]()
